Our early start to the summer coincided with the Giro this year. We enjoyed the usual sports: cycling, kayaking, hiking, and open swimming.

Unfortunately a couple of the boys were abducted and replaced by body doubles. Tim escorted them home, fed them dinner and no one seemed the wiser.

Classic vinyl analog storage devices were enjoyed!

New this year were salon style meditations, reflections and reminiscences. Topics included: living on the jagged edge of AI for maximum productivity, and the important historical lesson from the Civil War, that the slave uprising and rebellion turned the tide after Atlanta burned; Memories of Apollo 11; Wisdom from Anna Karenina, Travels with Charlie, and Scripture, with Greek exegesis of fear and trembling; Chapter 34 (the rogue wave) of an unpublished work in progress; and how to survive a Presbytery meeting without gnawing your leg off.
